Your portrait shot of the Lemur is intriguing. The expression of the animal is interesting. It looks as if the animal stopped eating and is observing the photographer and the camera. Your photo has good depth and is perfect focused and exposed. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color. The red eyes of the Lemur and the orange pies of fruit draw the interest of the viewers. The shallow background emphasizes the animal well. The composition is balanced, but I think that the framing is to tight, because the claws of one foot is cut off and the right margin almost touches the back.

Bravo Brian!!
Focus is sharp, colors are true and natural, white Balance Controlled on all colors, eye clarity is superb and details are crisp with a fine DOF.
Only minor thing is the clipped foot bottom... But setting were spot on here B!

He looks like a kid who just got caught eating dessert before dinner! Maybe he thinks someone is about to take it from him. It's a delightful image and the splash of color in his grasp is a nice contrast to his gray fur. The details are exceptionally sharp as well. Excellent job!

Very nice capture of the interesting animal, the lemur is well placed within the frame, well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones are natural. Well defined detail over every part of him as he eats a piece of fruit. I especially like his clear eyes!
Well composed and presented!

A nice looking ring tailed lemur and a very good shot too. The detail in his fur is exemplary and the glitter in his eyes is great. Nicely cropped with great colors.

Brian,
A wonderful picture of the Ring tail Lemur enjoying what looks like a peach held in it's righthand, it's eyes looking into the distance. Beautiful composition, framing & soft natural lighting, highlighting it's thick fur coat. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
