These lilacs look truly lovely, but very different from those I have in my own garden. I especially like how lovely the light is falling on the blooms, and also the included leaves on the left. With the softened background, the lilacs are standing out in an excellent way.

The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every bloom. The exposure is perfect.

I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and the placement of the lilacs within the frame. A truly beautiful and well taken photo Allan, and with an excellent DOF. Congratulations once again !

Thanks Annie, glad you liked the image. This particular lilac did catch my attention as it was different from the lilacs I am used to also. Could not get what variety it was. Thanks again!

It is actually Syringa pubescens subsp. patula (Miss Kim). Quite a lovely lilac I think. You are more than welcome for the review Allan.

Congratulations! this is a lilac plant. I have two bushed in my back yard and have tried to photograph them many times but unsuccessful cause the buds are very little. You did a great job!

Excellent diffused lighting, well framed, sharp details where it counts-center of the blooms. Very nicely presented. It almost seems as if I can smell the aroma coming out of the screen.
