A beautiful picture of this red Papaver orientale 'Garden Glory' glowing out from it's blurred green background. It's dark pollen laden stamens surrounding the pistil & developing seed pod in it's centre. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

nice rich colorful capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this rich red flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

I love poppies! They bring such beautiful color to a garden!
This is a pretty poppy with the fancy petals , the deep red/ orange tone and the dark center detail, I like the slight tilt of the stem.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!
