Even though this is a bit underexposed it has great details and colors! I can see the details of the stamens and fine lines of the petals. A nicely done close up!

I agree, it is a bit darker than I prefer. Since it was at dusk when taken, I probably could have bumped up the exposure inpost editing. BTY, love your profile image! Way too cool!

Nice capture of a flower, not sure what kind it is but they all are beautiful and can be a great subject of photography. The light condition is good and details are nicely captured. I could have framed all petals as it looks one petal is got cut at the bottom. Great work.

thanks so very much! You are correct, that petal tip was cropped intentionally- it had an ugly brown spot right in the middle of the foreground so I vanquished it.

No idea what kind of flower it is; lilly doesn't help: there are hundreds of different species just called "lilly"; ridiculous!

Thanks so very much! After some extensive research, we have discovered this is a yucca plant. It is not native to this area, had to be planted by previous resident.

I think this is some species of aquatic flower, perhaps related to Water Lilies. Your close up is interesting The slightly colored white petals seem to catch the light of the moon. The viewers get the impression to look at a pond at night. The dark background emphasizes this impression. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The tight framing is efficient. The flower is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Thanks so much for the review! Others have commented that they thought it might be a type of lily. However, the base of the plant has long pointed leaves, like you would expect to see in a semi-arid region. A variety of yucca perhaps?

glow in the dark flower? well the fake ones yeah but i didnt realize some real ones will do that. the angle of the shot of this yellowish flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall
