A beautiful stop action picture of this lady Widgeon standing up in the shallows while flapping her wings, the sun highlighting her beautiful brown & cream coloured mottled plumage , catching the sparkle in her eye . Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Great capture with all the different feathers clearly stated. Even with the ripples in the water you still got a good reflection. Best of luck in the Nature competition catagory.

What a great action shot! It almost looks as if the waterfowl is posing for the camera! Also nice to see a picture of one of the less colorful birds. Great details, perfect lighting and exposure, very well done!
