Your close-up shot is interesting. The spread wing allows us to observe the small feathers and the big plums. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The bird is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of the robin before you. Like its wing display. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

Lovely nature view of this female Flame Robin with spread wing amongst the green grass perched on a rock. Great clarity and focus and good lighting to show the details of her wings and face. A pleasure to view Mary.

You timed it so brilliantly!! The wing spread makes it so refreshingly different and so does the Robin on a boulder in a grassy field. As you say, sighting Robin in S Australia is rare, it adds another dimension to this image capture!! Thanks for sharing- keep it up
