Hi Nancy, I love the two Golden / yellow hibiscus and the way they are placed within the frame.
The two beautiful flowers are well photographed with spot on focus, this image is clear, exposure is perfect, the colors and tones appear natural.
Your use of mixed media has produced such a soft and lovely background .the hibiscus blooms come forward allowing such a good view of them.
Well composed and presented! Your poem is wonderful too!

Not a huge fan of flowers but this one really stands out from the crowd. Like the surreal background, it really makes the blooms pop off the screen. Also, the details on the flowers is superb with just the right amount of light.

Interesting view, but I prefer to have had the original background, It looks like its been glued on something else, so to me its like fake?, The flowers themselves are great but the background throws me off, thats just my opinion

You totally have the right to express what you feel! :o) The background is the original but it's blurred with a slight touch of the radial filter. I think I know what you mean though. If it had just been blurred you would have accepted it more. What you feel is a guide to what I create! Thanks for sharing what you thought! :o) Nancy

In case you didn't see the note I wrote sometime before. I wanted you to know that on Memorial Day weekend, when I was at my brothers. I saw the "Colorful Collaboration" video for the first time. It was absolutely amazing! Mark, You created something really special! I'm still clapping my hands and jumping up and down! WhaaaaHoooo!..............
Glad you liked the start of the poem I'm writing about Fred's World Travels! When I'm finished I'm not only going to send you the poem I'm also going to let you know the images I used to inspire me, from Fred's portfolio. I made sure I had the dates Fred posted them, so you can easily find them.You can use them or find another there that's similar. Because it was such a long process for my computer I didn't travel thru the whole portfolio. ......When YOU'RE done I KNOW the video is going to be COOL!!!!

Hibiscus is one of my favourite flowers and my garden has so many of these. The yellow hibiscus flowers clicked by you have brought forth their fragile beauty so nicely. The tender petals and the equally tender stem with orange pollen are so soothing to the senses. No wonder, you ended up composing a poem !! Thanks for this brilliant share
