The peony is the national flower of China /as in my poem- and grass of Mongolia./ Colorado was on Smithsonian chnl which I watch loads and loads- and some very odd southern cooking yesterday. A cheese cake made with Alligator sausages, what an excellent use for alligators. I would love to live in Montana or thereabouts! So much to paint, so much space. You are soooooooooooo lucky.

The red peony is beautiful , you have photographed it well with good focus, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. Well defined detail in the golden center, well composed allowing a good sense of this location. Well presented!

Thanks for your review, I appreciate it! Yes, they were bigger than saucer or salad plate size and the rest of them were very washed out by the bright sunshine...sorry : (

Easy 5 star here. Great composition The HD effect and vibrant colors really make this pop off the screen. Also like that little splash of direct light just off center, it adds to the depth perception and
breaks up an area of the otherwise same color. Very well done!
