This is so sweet and precious.
The trust your deer and fawns have with you speaks volumes of who you are LeeAnn.
The over the top view with the one eye opened is fantastic.
Beautiful capture :)

I LOVE this photo! You could have not gotten BETTER POSE. Perfect capture. I've done oil paintings of fawns. I'd like it if I could do this one. I'm so glad you won the contest. Well deserved.

Wow, this picture is giving me the vibes of precious. Not preciousness, just precious. It's funny, it reminds you of spring, but I feel as if this were taken in the fall. The very little amount of sunlight, and the leaves on the ground make me think I'm about to go to my high schools home coming game. And I should not forget a jacket. But the beautiful little precious, and the way that he/she is snuggled into a curl and pretty much blending into the surrounding parts of the picture. I also love that just seeing the 1 eye lets us know he/she is on high alert. It's a tiny clue for the many out there who cannot immediately distinguish what the object is. Most are not used to seeing deer in this emotion.

It's a fiver just on cuteness alone! Such an awesome image with good lighting, focus and color. Not a critique but a remark- I don't think this reaches the level of alterations to be classified as "Some" mixed media. This same result could just as easily been achieved in your camera. It barely qualifies as "Minor" mixed media. It is just a really good image in need of nothing. Great job!

A beautiful subject that is perfectly shown. I like the spring greenery that surrounds the fawn and that blue eye is fantastic. A fine composition with great colors. Best of luck in the contest.

This little one is precious. It is impressive how the fawn snuggles in its bed of old leaves and new green. Your photo is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. The fawn is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Awe, what a precious sight ! Looks like a brand new baby! I love the way t is curled up with its nose tucked in but still allowing a good view of the eye!
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!
