You have captured this bird in flight so well, and the stop action is just perfect. The reflection is lovely, and almost divine. You have also brought out so well the fine shine and ripples in the water, and the bird is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The bird is in sharp focus, and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in its feathers. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got a very fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Willie, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The reflection in the almost motionless water is interesting. The bird is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
