love this setting. made me think of a refreshing hike, and those mosses simply captured my heart. Exposure setting is excellent. Colors are natural. Got my vote for this contest!

The concept presented in the title is a good one. However, had you not mentioned there was a person at the end of the trail, he could have easily been missed. That could be due to FAR limited size of file upload. I am sure that in a lager format, he is more visible. Also, to make the scene more dramatic, it might help to bump up the saturation and contrast just a bit.

Your photo is intriguing. The small trail is apparently overgrown by nature. How vines and moss climbing up on the tree trunks is interesting. The photo is well focused and exposed and has impressive depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. How the path leads our eyes into the background is pleasant. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
