Beautiful shot that really caught my attention.

Great colors and how well it is posing on the little blue flowers.

Wish you the best in the contest!

This is a beautiul shot of this buttetfly. These guys are fast and hard to shoot. I love the colors on this shot. Very nice clarity too! Well done.

What a beautiful butterfly capture! I have only seen these one at a time and got a couple photos landing on clovers. The ones I have seen are only about an inch in size!
The balance of light and color is wonderful in this image.
You have it centered well which draw the eye.
Good job!

An excellent capture of the Cabbage Butterfly (called that in Australia too) drinking nectar from that beautiful blue flower. Love the composition and your white balance and exposure are spot on.

Lovely view of this dancing butterfly. It's hard to believe at a certain stage in their lives before becoming a butterfly they can destructive to the plants. Good close-up shot of the details of the butterfly perched upon the flower. Nice focus, clarity and technique.

Lise,
A beautiful picture of this quickly moving Butterfly who's caterpillars are capable of devouring & distroying a field of Cabbages or Brussels sprouts, which is how they got the name of Cabbage White ( I saw this myself on my parents' small holding, when I was a child). The Butterfly is beautiful.. beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Very nicely done. Placement of the butterfly in the frame is just right drawing the erewhile balancing with the contrasting blue flowers. Background works well accenting the main subject. Focus is sharp especially on the eye and legs. A great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the judging ~ Steve
