This is a beautiful entry into the contest, it's very well created to show the prayer warrior kneeling with the sword , he positions the sword to appear like a cross. I love the light behind him and the swirling motion that sweeps from left frame to the right upward, to me that emphasizes the power of his prayer.

A beautiful image that is well conceived and shown in very nice colors. I find it a little strange and somewhat disturbing that divine visions often are accompanied with the trappings of war.

I really like this piece, amazing concept and depiction of your vision. You captured a lot of emotion here, clearly a spirit inspired piece. The wing along the side is nicely done and adds to it without distracting from the main focal point. Your use of complimentary colours here and the depth you created in the background are great. He seems grounded although the atmosphere is dream like. I shaved half a star off because I am not sure about the proportion or placement of his hands. But overall, a really nice entry into the contest. Well done.

This is a nice rendition of the dream you had for your husband. Also it fits well with the verse. There is interesting symbolism there with the sword looking like a cross.
