You have captured this Monarch so well, and I especially like the simplicity of the photo emphasized by the totally softened green background. The flower is truly lovely, and the butterfly is standing out from the background in an excellent way.

The butterfly is in sharp focus showing truly clear and well defined details both in the body and the wings, and the exposure is spot on.

The cropping is perfect, and the butterfly has got a fine placement off to the right. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
