Why not... plenty of lines here I cannot denigh but my line entries always escape into oblivion too but at least we try. Its a galleon on the high seas with cliffs eitger side and reaini g landing on the wave. Fanrastic imagination. Well put together, and much pacience.. good luck.

I have come to recognize your art even if I don't see your name alongside it. This is interesting but you know how I am, I am a person who loves color and lots of it so this isn't really my cup of tea, but nevertheless this is a decent drawing. Thank you for sharing

I think this is a spectacular entry for the line art contest! The many lines and textures are interesting, almost visually challenging as you take in the slanting rain, curling clouds and choppy waves surrounding the brave boat! This shows fine talent and skill and hey, don't ever stop believing in your self!! Best wishes for the contest!

A rainy adventure indeed! I can see the time this took and the patience too! The ship right in the center of a storm , it's poring down rain!
Well created to tell this wet story. Well arranged and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Wonderful commercial work. I'm not familiar with a Sharpie razor's work. Is it used similarly like one would scratch out the piece artistically? If so, or not so, you did excellent detailed work. So amazing. I actually googled the tools and saw Sharpie pen advertisement after advertisement. But I enjoy learning. I, too, can visualize your narrative. And, it does look like a ship slap dab in the middle of an adventure at sea, with water below and coming from above.

sharpie razor pens are fine line ink markers that was introduced back (in 72 i think) by sharpie. they are a great tool for detail work as well as outline. drives me up the wall not using color but the contest calls for this. thanks for the great review.

Is this different for you to not have any colours in your art, as I have not seen any or reviewed a black and white from you before, This water is pretty choppy and this ship seems to be hanging in there pretty well, hope you have better luck in contest

I love your use of line to describe this scene. You have great details in your work that keeps they eye moving around. I love your sky with the curved marks evoking clouds. And your rain drops are amazing in their variation. Your ocean waves are very unique and I like the depth you get with their changing size. Your ship is a perfect focal point coming towards us. Well done!

yeah every year i would say to myself why bother with line art contest. i never seem to create that line drawing they want..oh well if this dont make it i just dont know what will..lol. thanks for the awesome review.

Very patterned; the artist is consistent with the repetition of shapes. I find that kind of mesmerizing, since it is not something I do in my work. I am not normally a cartoon aficionado, but this one holds my interest.

ROFLMAO! oh yeah..a line art contest where you cant shade nor color..if your review is 3 1/2 stars..means works really sucks and need to throw it away and start over again...really? well thats ok..there is a very big difference from a artist and a cartoonist..artist can slap anything on the canvas and try to claim it as an expression..they could have the viewers twisting their head like a puppy dog trying to figure out the artist is doing..a cartoonist (good one) doesnt have to explain what they done and the viewer will always understand what is in the scene. at least you dont hear some cartoonist giving some corny statement like artist do that it was drawn for world peace or world hunger like artist do when they are primping in a gallery..wink wink. thanks for the very poor review. (sticking finger down my throat)..lol

Thank you for the beat-down...I guess it was well deserved! This was my very first review ever, lol, and I'm afraid we agree on your outlook of Artists. It may be a rocky start but I think we will get along great in the future.

This is an unusual drawing. The mix of zentangle sand line art is intriguing. Apparently the patterns below symbolize waves, while the diagonal lines in front of the ship are tremendous rain. The ship behind seemingly emerges from ancient history. Your attention to detail is impressive. The drawing is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
