nice capture. the angle of he shot of this bird grooming itself in the bayou is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Very cool artistic shot here. Love the setting of your composition, the green water with the log and reeds. I like the pondering look on the heron, perfectly perched on the log. Nice bright colours and focus.

A beautiful bird that is shown in excellent detail. I find it amazing that they can find fish under all that duckweed. Great colors and nice cropping. Best wishes in the contest.

Apparently, this Heron takes its preening seriously, cleaning and adjusting each of its beautiful feathers separately. Your photo has good depth, is excellent focused and exposed, sand adequately treated with mixed media. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and textures and the realism of color and light. The nature scene is well composed and framed. The Heron is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
