An eye catching image if you'll pardon the pun. This composition is very attractive and the dark background really makes the colors look great. Those eyes are fantastic. Best of luck in the contest.

Your capture looks surreal. The insect on top of the broad blade of grass looks like the cockpit of an alien spaceship. The black background seem the infinitive universe.
Your photo is excellent focused and exposed. I appreciate the refinement of textures and detail and the realism of color and light. The fly and its blade of grass are well placed within the frame,. The composition is balanced.
