This bird is gorgeous. The colors of its plumage are beautiful. The red head is especial intriguing. The markings on the wings are interesting. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The bird is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

So pretty! I'm a huge bird lover so I wish we had more colorful birds here in the U.S. Midwest. Great close-up, color, and composition. The somewhat dull, blurred background really makes the colorful bird stand out. Good luck!

Sorry to hear you are on another lockdown, we are opening up here pretty good, stage 3, more to do, although I believe people were not following protocols and lockdown here for months, love the colour of this bird, wow, really bright and vibrant, great focus, interesting background branches

Thanks so much, fortunately we come out of lockdown tonight but there will continue to be restrictions. We have been very lucky so far it is only our third lockdown and none have been more than 2 weeks.

Our lockdowns have been for months at a time, just to come out of it for some things and then boom back to lockdown

colorful bird. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this colorful bird is great. the capture of the light is great. looks like the bird is flirting with you saying "psssst hey come over here and take my picture cutie!" lol..the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Stunning nature image of this multi coloured Eastern Rosella sheltering from the rain (I can see that it is raining). He is a real stand out against the softer background. Wonderful clarity in the details of his feathers and eye. Lighting is excellent for a grey sort of day. Enjoy coming out of lockdown soon Mary.

Thanks so much Chris, yes lockdown finishes tonight but it definitely interrupted plans for my milestone birthday. Trying to reorganise bookings but kids are struggling to get babysitters so may have to cancel altogether :(
