I think you achieved exactly what you were after with your editing, because this photo indeed has got a lovely dreamy look. I really like the yellow flowers against the light green softened background.
The main flowers are in sharp focus showing clear and well defined details, and the exposure is very good.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works so well, and the yellow flowers have got a perfect placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Barbara, and with an excellent DOF.
