A fine shot. I have never seen these black cocatoos with the yellow on the side of their heads and on their tails. A well composed image with great detail and fine colors.

this is a great stop action Mary of at least five cockatoos, a beautiful bird species that of course we don't have in our area; excellent sharp details;

Wow what an exotic bird. I have never seen birds like this in the wild before and i would be lucky to find them in a pet store up here. I have not seen this feather color combination before either. They posed so nicely for you. The lighting in your shot is beautiful. The bright blue sky against the green pine makes for a nice balance. Well done, thanks for sharing.

    Thanks very much they are not as common as the Sulphur Crested White Cockatoos. :)

The birds apparently found a excellent resting place where they can relax and observe the area. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the refinement of detail and the realism of color and light. You chose a nice group. How they sit in the Pine in a bow pleases the eyes of the viewers. The photo is well composed and framed/. The composition is balanced.

This is such an incredible sight to see! Here , the cockatoo is only seen n a cage as a pet. It's fun to imagine these birds flying freely .
Well captured to show this small flock all gathered in the pine tree. Well focused, clear image with good use of the available light.
Well composed and presented!

    Thanks Pat I think there were between 50 - 100 flying between both sides of the road hard to count as they were always on the move LOL

You really know well your birds and seemingly, geographical areas. Wonderful capturing of the nice pine needles, and the yellow on the Cockatoos' tails, especially the forefront one, along with the yellow splashes on the faces, all caught up against such a beautiful blue sky. Good job!
