More likely her daughter. In my experience they rarely have more than one brood a year and the younger one seems quite mature. A nice shot with great colors.

"remember MOM says not to talk to strangers!" lol. cool capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of these 2 young mallards is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Yes, just a beautiful job with the scene, especially the mallard ducks. Cute title. However, "She is my little grandmother" comes to mind as well, which is a chuckle. The navy blue in the mallard in the foreground--along with the small slashes of white and off-white--add variety.
