Beautiful capture. I love that you blurred the background to make the bird pop. As well as capturing the details in the feathers and the bark.

I cannot photograph a hunter at all. Too fast or not the right lens. This hummer just perched or is going to fly way. Excellent background. Anything else would distract of the bird.

thank you; he was perched,guarding the feeder from other hummingbirds when he stretched out his wings and fanned his tail feathers.

Thanks so much,yes I LOVE nature;this is a male ruby throated hummingbird,it had it?s back to me,but fortunately had it?s head turned,he was busy stretching out his wings and fanning his tail!
