Nik,
A beautiful of the woman directing the Teenagers where to go along the redbrick building alongside the River Mersey.(I think it's a mother telling them that's were she will meet them later) Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

So much to capture in one shot. Love the cobblestone or rock work she stands on and the walkway along the lovely water, distant horizon, and the sky is somewhat different also.

The way that the woman is centered between the buildings and the water is a great capture. This looks like an interesting place to walk and I can imagine that the woman who is pointing may have had sore feet by the end of the day. I like the way that the brick work is so random as well.Good job on this capture.

I am very grateful for your kind review! The buildings are a restored series of docks. Yes it?s a huge area so you cannot walk around there for too long after shopping in the city centre.

Observation of people can be quite good, and the woman is quite bold in this, however its lost a bit by having that mans face hidden by the girl,it does slightly remind of a snapshot that just needed better timing...Brian

It's such a soul uplifting click!! Warm sunshine falling so gently on the old buildings and producing that romantic golden glow!! Love those series of lampposts and the cobbled street- it's just so elegant!! And then the human element in the capture!! Kudos

nice capture. the angle of the shot of this woman directing her family, the walkway and sky view is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Enjoyable scene of a walking path along the river with the sunshine hitting the old buildings, cobblestone paving and the women's face as well. Great details and composition of this real life experience!

A very nice scene. The human element is well shown and the riverside walk with the cobblestone pavement is attractive. Great details and beautiful colors.

Yes, dramatic colors and interesting patterns to your photo! Very symmetrical lines of the wall, buildings and lamp posts and then the pleasing and chaotic patterns of the walks make this a fine view! Well done!
