You have really depicted a child listening eagerly to his father's or grandfather's stories, asking for "more." This will be a painting Adam will treasure. Such a touching story of grandfather's passing. Sympathy yet a celebration for his life. He seemed very involved in his grandchild(ren)'s life(s).

What a beautiful story and apt contest entry. So, so special. I know how my young grand child can hang on to some stories told...it is wonderful. Beautifully painted with lovely light and shading and delightful expressions. All the best in the contest and such a thoughtful gift.
