This is a great work of art. A wonderful drawing. Great shading. The subject is also a great story. Note I'm wondering who was in the ICU, grandpa or the baby. It looks like an old time picture. Does grandpa really look like that?

A good looking image posted here with dramatic and relieved notes! Sorry to learn that little John had a serious illness so early in life. Very pleased that God dragged him back from the edge. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well drawn!

Your notes make me wonder what went wrong with all the people ( children and adults ) who had 'health scares','prayed' their heads off and simply dropped dead,Linda!
But since debating metaphysical ideas actually isn't what this website is meant for I'll just tell you that I think this one's another great looking drawing and I admire your artistic talent very much,my friend! : D

Wow! This is an amazing drawing. What's even more powerful is the emotion that you captured in his face. Great composition, nicely illustrates the vulnerability of both God's children in this image. The child and John's positioning is so intimate. The texture and depth you added with the fabric really finishes it off. Well done! Clapping!

This is a heart warming drawing. The love of the grandfather is evident. The baby feels save in his arms. It makes me happy that John survived and now is back home. Your drawing is excellent. Your attention to realistic detail is exemplary. The light is exquisite. It emphasizes the expressions of the grandfather and the baby exquisitely. The view from above is appealing. Perspective and proportions are correct. The tight framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.
