Overall a very pretty 'scene' JBravo. A little too 'busy' - with so much going on in various areas, lots of negative space in others, there is no particular focal point; where do you want the viewer's eye to land? The pier in front, the posts, the boats in the background. Without the focal point, there is nowhere for the eye to travel and want to 'stay'. But it is indeed, a very pretty scene on the river. :)

The colors are very vibrant and natural for a summer river scene. The composition is okay, my personal preference would be to cut out the clutter of boats in background. They tend to make a relaxing scene too busy. Focus and dof are good.

I love water scenes and riding a ship or motorboat in the water. All of my siblings can or could swim, those gone from one life to another, but my sister and I. Love the water's colors, the horizon, and foliage, as well as the sky.

Wow nice shot here with the new camera. Lots of detail, it looks I can reach out and touch it. Nicely composed with the bridge structure in the foreground and the bright green grass. It balances nicely with the blue sky and water. Great depth in the photo as well. Thanks for sharing
