Lovely, simply lovely. Would make a great pencil or pastel drawing or painting. I like that it is moved over a little in the placement but not too much. The oranges and beige along with the touch of green are nice too as is the plantlife, branch or stem it is attached to.

With the darkened background, the vibrant yellow of this sunflower is popping out fully. Viewing such a beautiful sunflower at the onset of day here is such a pleasing and positive way to kickstart the day. It's a lovely angle and a great entry for the contest. Best wishes

Your mixed media is impressive. The Sunflowers glows out from the dark background. The petals look wind blown. Your photo has good depth, and is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color. The flower is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
