A very nice shot. I like this tight framing and the curve of the blade of grass he is perched on. Beautiful colors and very nice detail in the hopper. Best of luck in the contest.

Yes, a really beautiful grasshopper, so well framed and so nice in details through your close up shot - the green background brings such a harmony into this picture letting the yellow green animal stand out and at the same time being integrated naturally into the color frame - wonderful initial impression - all the best for the contest
