A lovely little shot showing off the pretty single bloom and surrounding buds. Very nice detail and the centered composition works well. My own personal preference would have been to eliminate the bud at bottom left. Best of luck in the contest.

I love the cornflowers and have never seen one in this color.
You have photographed bit well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural.
The flower and buds are coming forward from the soft background in such a lovely way.
