That's a really good looking portrait drawing of this large primate,mt friend!
I'm not all that sure of how much actual 'humanity' these beasts have but they're certainly interesting creatures and your charcoal rendition of this one's face is Excellent! : )

I think this is a great drawing with depth and perspective. I can see and feel that he is thinking something and maybe a little perplexed or feeling confused and sad. It makes me want to know what is going on.

Those eyes look humanoid. Looking at them, I have the feel that the Gorilla knows more than I do. Perhaps she/he preserved ancient memories we have lost through the evolution of our own species. The portrait is perfect drawn. I am impressed by your attention to realistic detail. I even see single hairs. The light within the eyes and the reflection at the nose are especial interesting. Proportions and perspective are correct. The drawing is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
