The little Bee looks cute within the white blossoms on top of the spiky thistle-like flower. Your close-up is perfect focused and exposed and adequately treated with mixed media. I enjoy the sharpness of detail. The hairs on the upper body of the bee and the long spikes on top of the Teasel are especially interesting. The black background emphasizes the plant remarkably. The monochromatic amplifies the features of the plant. The Teasel is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

This is a great entry for the Black and White contest. I love the almost silvery look of this.
The sharpness of the details gives a dramatic feel and catches the eye. The visiting bumblebee adds a nice element. The black background adds emphasis to the teasel.

This is just stunning! The black and white conversion really makes ever element and textile just pop. Of course, when you start with a perfectly clear and finely detailed shot, it had to be that good. I love it. Only a virtual six since I am all out. My best wishes for the contest.
