This shows the pigeon/dove in a beautiful way. I like to listen to them in the morning. Great clarity and focus and good placement, catching the shadow as well.

Yes- it is a cute pigeon from the dove family. A gentle docile bird who loves urban habitats. Your click is spot on- the pigeon is captured in true colours with its shadow falling on the wood. The bright red claws of pigeon on that textured wood is just so gorgeous!! Kudos

The iridescence feathers at the neck, the red eye, and the red legs indicate that this is a member of the about 1000 species of Columbia livia, commonly called Rock Pigeon or Rock Dove. The bird might be feral, but could be domestic also. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail and textures. The bird is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

This looks like a pigeon to me, although they are in the dove family. Among the smartest of birds, these were trained to carry messages during the War. Great shot, especially with the variety in the textured surface it is standing on. Great details in the feathers. Their neon feet always make me laugh. Well done, thanks for sharing

Lots of interesting colors here. Catching the colors of the bird on the colorful wood is interesting and unique. Is nice and balanced with the dark shadow balancing the bird. Even the drippings add interest. :)
