A nice looking shot with a good catchlight in the eye and nice exposure for the white feathers. An excellent portrait. That extra feather adds interest.

Fred,
A beautiful profile portrait of this Mute Swan with down clinging to it's beak after preening standing out in beautiful contrast from the blurred background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, amusing and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable portrait view of that swan. Shades and tones are good. Nicely taken!

Good title to show the situation - excellent moment again outstanding and special
your close up shot shows perfectly this situation, and your picture is so clear and sharp that we can see this portion to the tiniest piece.
Great angle and position, perfect presentation, well seen, well reacted and well presented

Wonder if the swan has to look cross eyed down his beak to see the feather...and how embarrassing that none of this swan friends told him before his debit photo shoot...geez...birds of a feather. Great capture!

This photo is very well done! It is like you can tell what the animal is thinking. You have great focus on the subject at hand and with the blurred back ground berths it all together nicely
