This is gorgeous! It is so soft looking I thought it was a painting! Great depth created by the dark background the top petal coming forward. The complimentary contrast of the dark purple center to the soft yellow really pops. Great composition with the close crop. A powerful image, it would have made a great entry for this weeks challenge "macro". Thanks for sharing

WoW, being a natural picture, it is unusual as I love nature but I never saw a black piece in a yellow flower- special presentation, well cropped to show the unusual piece in perfect sharpness and contrast - this looks like the flower is holding the black part in her hand ...

I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of texture and detail. The tall format is sufficient. The tight framing is adequate. The photo is well composed and framed.
