Sounds like a fun trip. And thanks for the interesting fact about the white bears. Looks like a beautiful saying with Clearwater. It appears a little out of focus to me. Otherwise an interesting photo.

Hope they only use the gun to scare the white bear away. Nice capture with the red boat and yellow vests standing out against the ice and snow in background. Good dof and focus.

It looks pretty chilly out there. I didn't notice the gun at first but I guess there is always a bear lurking out there. I like how you off centered the picture a bit to show the beautiful scenery in the background

This looks cold, but so beautiful with the snow covered landscape, the shiny clear water, and a lovely cloudy sky. The red boat and the colorful outfits of people are standing out from all this beauty in an excellent way.
The photo is nice and sharp showing truly clear and well defined details all over, and the white balance and exposure is spot on.
The photo is nicely cropped, and it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

Interesting capture. The angle of the shot of these folks with boat coming out of the water is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

I believe it!! Polar bears are one of the most dangerous animals in existance. Beautiful scenery in the background. The sky and the mountains are surreal and clear. This a great story telling image. Thanks for sharing

I am not surprised by the gun. I think that even US Park Rangers wear stun-guns in dangerous wilderness areas. Its better to be prepared than being eaten by predators.
Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color and the refinement of detail. The photo is excellent composed and framed. The raft is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
