What a lovely grouping of white pelicans, I like the dark waters and their distorted reflections. The vertical format is perfect for this grouping and the frame adds additional interest. Looks like the rocks are a preferred preening spot;wonder if they stop here during their spring and fall migrations to rest up and refuel before continuing on? A very lovely composition!

Must get too hot in the summer months. Absolutely lovely subject, gorgeous background and a superb use of the camera. The rocks the Pelicans are using for stools also add interest amongst the ripples of the water.

A very nice shot. The American White Pelicans are well exposed and show good detail in their plumage. It looks like those rocks are popular perches.
