I especially like the fine ripples and reflections in the shiny water, but also the stop action is excellent. The light is falling on the bird in such a lovely way, and the open wings looks beautiful.
The bird is standing out sharp and well defined against the background, and it is indeed clear details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The white balance and exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and the bird has got a fine position within the frame. This is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. Nice lifted wings show good detail.

Wow, a very excellent title and shot, absolutely at the perfect second with this extreme wing position for the landing moment - this picture shows us that the wings are much more as we just see them covering their bodies.
Perfect frame choice, integrating the reflection in a very harmonious way - excellent sharpness and contrast - super distance and position - a wonderful moment- well seen and well presented as always
