All i can think of when i see sketches like this is how long it must have taken! The contrast is lovely!!! The detail in the wrinkles of the shirt are amazing and then tendons on the leg, great job:)

What a sweet tribute to your pastor and his wife. I am sure she will appreciate it. He seems to have a sweet face, open and inviting. People like that come along too seldom in life. Your work is wonderful, and very detailed. You are a thoughtful friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I SO love your art work Linda. This is such a wonderful black and white pencil image of your Pastor. As you say it epitomises joy and hope of being in eternity and seeing the people we love again. What a Great tribute to this man. I am sure he made such a positive difference in the lives of so many.

Again, an amazing drawing and I knew right away that he was other-worldly. I wanted to know what happened to him even though it depicts him as alive in a happy time before you even said in the narrative that he had passed. You somehow captured both! The drawing is so life-like, the detail in the clothing, the wrinkles in the shirt, the facial expression, etc. I am sure his wife loves it.
