cute title. the angle of the shot of this bird in the water with fish in its beak is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

That is definitely a very plump looking Grey Heron so he must catch and enjoy many fish including the one popping out of his beak. Colors are good and focus sharp on the eye.

Lovely grey heron. Love the blue on its head, the color in its beak and the white head is nice. The white feathers on its body are really pretty, nice, soft looking. The heron's reflection is nice. The water is somewhat mirky-like but that is the color and way in so many of these settings. Your title is cute but kinda looks more gristle-like.

The Heron looks strange in this photo, because it almost look like it has a thick neck. You have captured it well though, and even with a fish in its beak. I especially like the fine shine and ripples you have captured in the shiny water, and the bird is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp, and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. This is a lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

A very nice shot. The way his throat is distended makes it clear he is swallowing a fish and the tail sticking out of his bill confirm it. A nice rear profile with fine colors.

A beautiful stop action picture of the Grey Heron with the small fish's tail curling over the Heron's long bill under his eye it's pink tongue just visible in it's open bill. I imagine this was just seconds before it threw back it's head to swallow the fish. The heron's reflection seen on the lake's glistening surface that creates a beautiful backdrop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
