A nice old boat, the rust and faded paint really add character and good color to the whole scene, the clouds in the background help to balance out the scene.

I do like fishing boats more so rusting ones,of course would have preferred to see the whole boat but this works just as well and probarly better as it does look like a big boat to get in...Brian

Don't people buy them and do them up? that looks in really good nick to me, compared to some on our sea shores. In need of paint and sprucing I grant you. However, this is a sea faring nation and if they could, nearly all would want a boat. We have a canal /ofcourse/ as well as five rivers in Sheffield and I always fancied having a canal boat for a home. Smashing photo.

I love shots like this Pat! The composition you have chosen, leaving the ground out makes it seem like it could still be on water. The boat fills the frame nicely. The blue sky compliments the rust colour of the hull beautifully. This old boat has a sense of history and lots of character...the rust tells a story. Well done, thanks for sharing
