The pampa grass really looks great with the rays of sun shining through them, and you have pictured this so well. I know how difficult it is to taken photos like this, but when you succeed, pictures like this are awesome. The all dark background is of course very effective.

The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the grass. The exposure is spot on, and I like the monochrome look.

The tight cropping is perfect, and I like the way the pampa grass is filling the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.
