These mushrooms truly look great with their strong orange colors, so I can understand how they got their name. The background looks lovely as well, and you have brought out all the fine textures in the bark and the moss. The mushrooms are standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the mushrooms. The exposure is spot on.
The tight cropping is perfect, and I like the placement of the mushrooms within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A very nie and special picture, as normallly these kind of tree mushrooms have not such a strong orange color with full life strangles.
I love the close up and the angle showing us these many pieces in such harmony in such clarity and sharpness with a perfect contrast. Your frame is excellent at creating perfect harmony

Chicken of the woods! I just got the pleasure of seeing this in RL a few weeks ago! Such an interesting plant! Subject matter is awesome! Lighting is not bad, but seems slightly out of focus.
