Quite nice Jesuel. You captured the ambiance of the movement with the vivid contrast between the light and dark. I can almost hear the music. I particularly like the strong straight lines that describe the tutu. This is a beautiful work of art. Reasons for my five star vote.

You can almost feel her muscles straining. Beautifully wrought piece from a surprising angle. Do you actually watch ballerina concerts? My dad used to adore them and would travel to any part of England when the Russian ballet came to England. I have never seen one.

The spot-light shows that the ballerina is performing. The dancer seems in trance. Apparently, she has the leading part in the ballet The Red Shoes, which tells the story of a girl which cannot take those red shoes off, which make her dancing until she breaks down death. Your pastel tells the story perfectly. I almost her the music. The limitation of color is appealing. The dark background emphasizes the pose remarkably. I appreciate your attention to realistic detail. Perspective and proportions are correct. The ballerina is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

The hand extended towards the viewer seems a little too small, it doesn't quite fit. Her other one is good, to scale. I like the simple background and light behind her. Thanks for sharing
