It is quite an attractive perch, no wonder all these birds seem to prefer it. The branch is very nicely shown and the male cormorant's feathers shine in the sun.

what some folks will do if they dont want their picture taken..geez! lol..cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this headless bird on the branch is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A beautiful picture of the Preening Cormorant, head back over it's shoulder as it preens it's back or it rearranging the feathers on it's right wing. The clear blue sky makes a beautiful backdrop. Beautiful composition framing & lightging taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
If it had NO head it would fall off it's perch!

I reviewed one headless cormorant with this unique bark (Some peeling off, etc). Your capture of the limb(s) is wonderful as is the sky and the feathers on the creature but I don't like too many headless creatures. LOL!
