Oh I wish I had a 6 star left as when I saw him I felt sad and reading your content I know why I felt sad, as I am feeling always al the animals situations and what they feel and he know he would have to go soon - great memory creation, excellent simple color choice and application - fantastic detail work and special soft contrast and light application - a nice use of space and a perfect moment to represent this last moment - big hug and all the best keeping him in your memory as happy one

It's a beautiful piece of artwork you done. It's such a realistic depiction with such a wonderful composition. I like particularly the side pose of the dog which gives him a " reflective" gaze. It seems to be a Beagle pet. Kudos
