It looks as if the fire was ignited recently. This kiln will burn for a few more days, until the charcoal can be harvested. Your photo is well focused and exposed. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. Due to your adequate and careful adjustments, the scene looks almost like a painting. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
