This creature is interesting. Its color is amazing. I didn't even know that some of them have this vivid coloring. Your photo has good depth and is well focused and exposed. I appreciate the refinement of detail. The sea-star is perfect placed within the frame. The underwater photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

I can honestly say I've never seen the like. It is beautiful. The white balance is well controlled and makes a high contrast background. It compliments the star well. Lighting is even and bright. The framing of this subject highlights the star as the center of interest. Top notch camera technique.

The photo is really sharp and it is such fine details to be seen both in the background and the star. The exposure is spot on.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo and placed the sea star off to the left. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with a very good DOF.

Wow I have never seen a blue star fish. This is absolutely stunning. The shade of blue is beautiful. I never even knew that these star fish existed in color. How lucky to be able to photograph something so incredible. I wish I had a six to give you. Thank you so much for sharing
