Proper clever photography. Superb shot of the castle in the distance and the low clouds and rippling seas. Clever idea of putting the family in the foreground. That is SO north of England!! /I think Cumberland is gorgeous!! used to pass through each week when I lived in Scotland, which I loved and came down to Sheffield to give tuition to my GCSE pupils before their exams./

Areas of this work are really astounding, as the pinkish-purple in the sky and the orangist small part. You did a fine job photographing the scene, especially of the Silhouetted people as your title is about them.

Even if it is not much we can see of the Bamburgh Castle, it looks very impressive. I especially like the creative editing with the selective coloring of the sky, and also the silhouetted people you have added in the foreground. Your work with layers is really good. The clouds in the sky are so nicely reflected in the mirror like water.
The castle and the foreground people are standing out sharp and well defined, and also the exposure is very good.
The tall format is perfect, and with the people you have added in the foreground, it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done Mixed Media photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
