This is a really stunning photo! I think shots with the sun shining through the trees are some of the most beautiful compositions and the colours of the sunrise add a really dreamy effect! It looks like a place that would be magical to visit, good luck in the contest!

This sunrise is breathtaking. The reflection at the river is especially intriguing. I like how the river lead our eyes into the background. Your photo has impressive depth and is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The trees clothed in their autumn foliage are attractive. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Brilliant use of the river as the leading line for the viewer. It sets a mood of tranquility and security. Did you purposely align the setting sun in the tree branches? - the sunburst effect adds a sense of drama and realism. Your camera angle catches the reflected sunlight from the tree line providing a great counter point.
Excellent DOF gives realistic fine detail from fore through background. Depth of field is generously exaggerated by the river flowing off into a mist.
Classic framing combined with exceptional camera technique yields a timeless essay ... Bob P. B-))

Nice autumn scene this and the sun slightly going down i think in this adds a nice glow,pity there were not somebody in a canoe in the middle of the water just to add extra interest,but that small point aside its a good view of this place...Brian

It is a place where people finish rafting trips during the summer. The river has many rapids so I have never seen canoe on it. At this time only fisherman?s go on the river, although not in this section.
