Well, he was not close enough to catch any of the sweets, they throw from the floats. That makes kids unhappy.;..

Mexican kids used to constantly bother us for change every time we went down into Juarez on weekend passes from Fort Bliss.I'm glad that was forty years ago.That place is an undeclared War Zone nowadays!

They were genuine Pests in the Mexican border towns! Like Swarms of Mosquitos! ( I guess it's much worse now that the Drug Cartels have infested places like Ciudad Juarez! )

It's such a beautiful portrait work in digital. The Mayan boy has been so vividly depicted- I love his triangular face with inquisitive eyes and those black hair. He has a somber look somehow. Kudos for such a lovely work

This is a very striking image of this fellow. I don't understand digital art as compared to traditional art, but the attention to detail, the brush strokes, and the lighting on this fellows face really makes this image stand out to me. I like his solemn look as well.

Your review and six star rating are great encouragement for me.
There are different kinds of digital art. I paint like I would on canvas, just that I move my brushes on a touch pad. It is a bit like finger painting, but more difficult. My program [ArtRage] allows me to choose the canvas structure and mix my own colors. :o)

A nice historic presentation and it is awesome that you are looking at pictures from such historic times as that are already ten years - awesome idea, great detail work, as your artistic presentation really looks at the first moment like a picture - awesome background creation, perfect close up face, and I am sure he would be very happy to see your artwork and to hang it on his own wall

The face is done paying such a good attention to details, and the expressive eyes are truly well done. Both shadows and high lights are painted in an excellent way.
The square format is perfect, and the boy has got a very good placement on the canvas. I think this must be one of your best Cleo, and it is extremely well done.
